Insulated Bulkheads
Insulated Bulkheads allow a refrigerated hauler to carry two or more different load temperatures within the same trailer or truck body. Similar to Center Partition Systems, Bulkheads are
used to separate fresh food products from frozen or dry goods. These partitions
can allow one truck to make complete deliveries to several locations. They also
reduce the total area that requires cooling, which conserves fuel used by the
refrigeration unit, and allows it to achieve the desired temperature faster.
The Insulated Bulkhead was invented by F/G Products Inc. back in 1962.
Since that time we have continued to build the finest, most durable
bulkheads we know how, satisfying customers around the
