HR Assistant

Job Description:

The HR Assistant plays a vital role in providing administrative support to the Human Resources department. This position involves contributing to various HR functions, including recruitment, employee records management, and communication facilitation.

The HR Assistant ensures the smooth operation of HR processes and procedures, while also assisting in maintaining compliance with relevant policies and regulations. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are essential in this role.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

Work Location: In person.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with posting job vacancies on appropriate platforms.
  • Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates regarding interview details.
  • Coordinate pre-employment screenings and reference checks.
  • Assist with the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Maintain and update employee files and databases.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of employee records.
  • Assist with paperwork related to employee status changes, such as promotions, transfers, and terminations.
  • Assist in preparing HR-related documents, such as employment contracts and offer letters.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in gathering data for audits and compliance reviews.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong computer, problem solving, written and verbal and communication skills.

Education and/or experience:

  • Associate degree in human resource management (preferred).
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in the HR field.
  • Knowledge and experience of the principles of human resources.
  • Experience managing employee benefits (preferred).
  • Payroll experience.
  • Experience in a Manufacturing environment (Preferred).
  • Must be proficient with MS Office and ability to utilize HRIS system.

Accountant

Job Description:

The Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. This role involves tasks such as recording financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data to provide insights for decision-making.

This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by accurately tracking expenses and supporting strategic financial planning. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software are essential for success in this role.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Enters invoices; reviews invoices and approvals and selects items for payment; prints accounts payable checks; maintains and balances check registers.
  • Prepares and issues checks, wires, and ACH transactions.
  • Audits and completes journal entries, ensuring accurate reporting and coding to appropriate departments, and proofs reports.
  • Provides account reconciliation with General Ledger Balances, benefits vendor billings, tax, and other deduction and contribution source data.
  • Month end credit card reconciliation with entering and coding to correct GL account.
  • Completes month end closing and general ledger reconciliation.
  • Preparation of monthly financial statements including Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow.
  • Completes year-end closing.
  • Review and process monthly and/or quarterly sales and use tax, as required.
  • Assists with other accounting projects and reports; trains other staff in the accounting system as needed.


Education and/or experience:

  • High school diploma or GED and some specialized training.
  • Associate degree in accounting (preferred but not required).
  • Three years of accounting experience.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment (preferred).
  • Cost accounting experience (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • ERP, NetSuite and Avalara Tax Software experience (preferred).
  • Demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

ERP Systems-Administrator/Analyst

Job Description:


We are looking for an ERP Systems Analyst with a solid Information Systems foundation that is eager to grow their existing skillset.


The successful candidate will develop a comprehensive understanding of existing business processes and provide recommendations for process improvements. You will assist other departments, offering your in-depth knowledge of the gathered requirements and system options to create business solutions. You will assist in guiding users through the solution implementation process, conducting software training sessions and providing user support.

  • Maintain knowledge of IT systems, currently NetSuite ERP and Nesuite CPQ, functionality, customizations, and integrations

  • Assist with data analysis, reporting needs, continuous improvement initiatives, change management, and support for optimal usage within NetSuite and other systems
  • Conduct in-depth discovery meetings targeted at understanding, capturing, and identifying the business requirements and objectives of departments/users
  • Propose system design/enhancements based on business requirements and observed challenges
  • Work with external resource partners to manage projects and support cases


Education and/or experience:

  • 3 years of experience of ERP System administration and/or implementation
  • NetSuite ERP experience is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Accounting, or related fields is preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency with project scoping, planning, requirements gathering, business process mapping and end-to-end process experience is a plus
  • Understanding of common industry business practices related to accounting, sales, manufacturing, inventory management
  • advanced understanding of accounting is a plus
  • Exhibit exceptional interpersonal, customer service, decision-making, and analytical analysis abilities
  • Javascript coding is a plus
  • Experience with CNC equipment is a plus
