We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized professional to join our team in a Sales Order Processing role, with a clear path to grow into a Production Coordinator position. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of sales, manufacturing, and operations and wants to develop deeper responsibility in production planning and coordination over time.
What you'll Do:
- Accurately process sales orders, ensuring customer information, configurations, and dimensions are correct
- Create and maintain production shop sheets and supporting documentation
- Work closely with Sales to answer questions and resolve order discrepancies
- Modify work order line items and images for non-standard orders as needed
- Maintain spreadsheets, SOPs, and documentation used in order processing
What you'll Grow into:
As you gain experience, this role will expand into production coordination, including:
- Monitor material availability and coordinate with Purchasing to address shortages
- Managing and maintaining Bills of Material (BOMs), routings, and revisions
- Coordinating stock assembly work orders and tracking progress across departments
- Working closely with Scheduling, Purchasing, Engineering, and Inventory
- Supporting physical inventory, especially work-in-process (WIP)
- Identifying process improvements and helping optimize production workflows
